Serving as your Leon County Superintendent of Schools has been a truly rewarding experience. I appreciate the confidence you placed in me over a year ago and continue to embrace the philosophy of putting “Kids First.”

Countless hours and remarkable effort were put into our campaign as together we walked the entire district. We sought your support and promised to listen. I believe that we are keeping our promises by dedicating ourselves to five district-wide priorities and implementing substantial programs to help improve the graduation rate.

As your superintendent, I have been privileged to visit every school in the district and to witness firsthand the dedication of our students and educators. I would like to take this opportunity and acknowledge all of the volunteers for the 2007 campaign. I appreciate all of your dedicated hard work.

As many of you know, we had a great turnout at our kickoff event on October 10, 2007 at the Moon. We had an outpouring of support which reached into the 600’s. Thank you friends for your strong support of our 2008 campaign! Please take the time to sign up with your contact information as well as an order for a yard sign.
